Kenya Meteorology Department Warns of Strong Winds that May Uproot Trees, Blow Off Roofs in 13 Counties

  • In its weekly forecast for Tuesday, July 27, to Saturday, July 31, the weatherman noted the winds might also cause structural damage
  • The counties set to be affected include Marsabit, Isiolo, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, Kitui, Makueni, Taita Taveta, Tana River, Lamu, Kilifi, Mombasa and Kwale
  • The department said rains are expected in a few places in the highlands west of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the south and central Rift Valley
