Over the years, the education sector has been perennially hit by a shortage of human resources in schools. The ratio of teachers to students simply reflects how much learners have been disadvantaged for a long time. The government has been putting in efforts to effectively address this menace across the country but constraints such as finance have derailed these efforts. Recently the government started rolling out TSC internship opportunities for education graduates in a bid to meet teacher shortage across the country as well as address the rising unemployment issue.
Interested graduates must meet the following requirements as laid out by TSC. Here are some guidelines for TSC internship recruitment:
- Must be registered by TSC.
- Primary school interns and secondary school interns should have a minimum of P1 certificate and diploma in education respectively.
- Possess an insurance cover and certificate of good conduct.
